Copper Nickel Pipe Overview
1. Description:
Copper Nickel (Cu-Ni) pipes are alloys primarily composed of copper with nickel and strengthening elements such as iron and manganese. They are known for their excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and erosion, making them ideal for marine and offshore applications.
2. Common Copper Nickel Grades:
Cu-Ni 90/10 (C70600): Contains 90% copper and 10% nickel with small additions of iron and manganese for improved strength and corrosion resistance.
Cu-Ni 70/30 (C71500): Contains 70% copper and 30% nickel; offers superior strength and resistance to high-velocity seawater and steam.
3. Manufacturing Types:
Seamless Pipes
Welded Pipes
ERW Pipes
Fabricated Pipes
